What customers say?

“ Very lovely night. Food, ambience, and staff were all great. The basque cheesecake was excellent. The meatballs are recommended as well. The menu is creative and all executed well, and portions and price were pretty reasonable. We enjoyed everything that we ordered. It's great that they have a cheap bottle of wine option too. The staff were all more than friendly to us. It's a great place to go with friends or on a date. ”

“ We had a fantastic experience at The Cheese Room in Seattle. Even on a busy Saturday night, we were seated at the bar and taken great care of by Geoff. He was helpful, attentive, and had a great sense of humor—exactly the kind of service that elevates a meal. We enjoyed a bottle of wine paired with their delicious complimentary focaccia. Their take on lasagna was unique: light on the sauce but rich, meaty, and incredibly cheesy, exactly what you’d expect from a place called The Cheese Room, and we loved it. Our pasta with mushrooms, prosciutto, and truffle oil was equally excellent. We were so full by the end that we couldn’t even squeeze in dessert. Overall, it was a relaxing and memorable evening, and the perfect way to kick off our trip to Seattle. Highly recommend! ”

“ This place is a super cute Italian restaurant with great food. My boyfriend and I went for happy hour and while the food was amazing I felt the portion sizes were small despite the prices. The drinks here are all great! The tiramisu was good, but I felt as if it was extremely cream heavy and lacked a lot of the cake portion. ”

“ Cheese is the highlight of the restaurant here! But like many of the others, I thought the pasta was good but not great. They can be a bit heavy and the flavor really depends on your preference. The pasta portion is not the biggest and most filling. My favorite is actually the grilled cheese. The tomato bisque is really tart and delicious & you can actually just order it as a side without ordering the grilled cheese. Bonus: free complimentary bread! ”

“ Cheese Room Seattle Honestly, I didn't think I would enjoy this place since I didn't like cheese... but... 1. Best grilled cheese sandwich I've ever had! made with ricotta (which I've never had), it's so light & fluffy I forgot I was eating cheese! came with tomato soup and that pairing was seriously, you gotta try. 2. Camembert lobster bisque ravioli was so yummy! I've never heard of camembert cheese, but whatever they did with it was 3. the Basque cheesecake... also have never heard of this, but if you're looking for a cheesecake that feels "healthy"? (lol) this is it! it was so light & creamy but not overwhelming in flavor, I probably could've eaten the whole cheesecake myself. 4. ok, tiramisu, apparently up until now I've never had "real" tiramisu? I didn't know! I've only ever had American tiramisu? haha. but if you're looking for tiramisu with strong rum & coffee flavor, come try theirs. 5. strong margarita overall- I will definitely go back ”

“ Delicious fresh pastas, excellent selection of cheeses. Charming ambiance, excellent service. Lovely truffle campanelle, will be back for raddiatore and housemade tiramisu. Highly recommend pistachio salad. ”

“ Wow. What a delicious meal we had here! This is a lovely restaurant with a nice and cozy atmosphere, where everything in the menu has cheese. There are lots of vegetarian options, and the grilled cheese with tomato soup is incredible. We got that and the lasagna, which was also really good. The cheeses of course were very tasty. Can’t wait to come back! ”

“ The hype is fully justified on this one! I ordered the five cheese plate. I only knew I wanted the aged gouda and let my server pick the other four. All five were outstanding, as was the spiced fig jam. The focaccia bread was incredible, but so filling I couldn’t finish my cheeses, so I boxed them up for my hotel fridge. To the staff’s credit, I was one of the only customers right when they opened, and they were working overtime filling my water! I had been walking around town for hours and was worried about getting kidney stones from the cheese overload. I cannot say enough kind words about both the staff and the food! I came to Seattle to knock things off my bucket list, but they really made me want to go back, so I probably will. I really loved the view from the dining room. Seattle at its finest. ”
